Join the SBDES Board!
Building a strong school community starts with parents like you! SBDES is seeking nominees for the 2026-2027 Board, striving to represent all of our school programs and every grade level. Please nominate yourself or someone you know who may be a great fit for our volunteer Board.
Every year, we hold elections to find dedicated community members to lead our booster club. These roles are vital because they directly support our students by funding programs, organizing fundraising events, and ensuring our students and teachers have the resources they need.
We would love to have your unique perspective on the team. Whether you have plenty of time to give or just a little, there is a place for you here—joining the Board is a fantastic way to make a real difference for our kids! Board members officially meet monthly throughout the year, with much of the work being completed outside these meetings.

All nominees must be approved LAUSD volunteers (or have a pending application, and commit to being an approved volunteer to start the school year).

Deadline to nominate a candidate is May 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM PT.
Nomination Acceptance - Nominees will be informed by the SBDES Board of their nominations via email. Please add BraddockSBDES@gmail.com to your contact list to ensure the nomination message makes it into your inbox. Nominees must respond to the email, and either accept or decline their nomination according to the deadlines in the above timeline. It will be assumed that nominees who neither accept nor decline by the deadline will have declined their nomination.
